When you purchase a Technical Assistance Program (TAP) subscription for your NeuralWare product, you make sure that you will always have the most current releases as well as Technical and Application notes and up-to-date information about other NeuralWare technology developments.

TAP features and services include:

•	Extended assistance, including priority access to NeuralWare product engineers, in using NeuralWare products after the 60-day period of free technical assistance has ended;
•	Automatic distribution of covered product updates;
•	Automatic distribution of Technical Notes and Application Notes;
•	A $100 discount on any NeuralWare Training Course that you want to take during the term of your TAP subscription and
•	Other special discounts and promotional incentives.

Technical Assistance Program Coverage

NeuralWare technical assistance is designed to resolve issues and questions that arise when you install, configure, and begin to use NeuralWare products. NeuralWare products are powerful empirical modeling tools, and we want to make sure that you are able to take full advantage of product features and capabilities.
In addition, NeuralWare continually strives to improve its products by incorporating suggestions from users as well as new technologies, and by fixing any problems that are encountered by users.

Separately, NeuralWare Training Courses provide in-depth information about neural network technology, how to develop robust neural network models, how to apply neural network models, and how to interpret neural network model outputs. NeuralWare scientists and engineers are also available for consulting engagements to focus on specific problem domains or application areas.

Free Technical Assistance

When you purchase a NeuralWare product, you are automatically eligible for 60 days of free technical assistance, as long as your first request for assistance is made within 3 months of the date your product was shipped. Your free technical assistance period starts when you first contact NeuralWare concerning a technical question.

Technical Assistance Under a TAP Subscription

When you purchase a TAP annual subscription at the same time you purchase a NeuralWare product, or within 60 days of the date your product was shipped, your free technical assistance period will extend through the end of the second month following the month in which your product was shipped. The annual TAP coverage period for your product will then begin on the first day of the third month following the month in which your product was shipped.

Using Your Technical Assistance Program Subscription

The primary way to obtain assistance under your TAP subscription is through the Internet by e-mail on the NeuralWare web site. At the time you purchase a TAP subscription, you will be given a priority TAP email address for use only by TAP subscribers, and you will be given a subscriber-only telephone number that you can also use for technical support questions.

Note that non-subscribers obtain technical and administrative assistance through help@neuralware.com.

Other Technical Assistance Program Policies

In general, NeuralWare does not provide support for product releases that are not the current release. Customers who never purchased a TAP subscription for their product, or who allowed their TAP subscription for a not-current release of a product to lapse, may obtain the latest release of their product (and technical assistance) by paying a TAP enrollment / reinstatement fee and purchasing an annual TAP subscription for the product. Technical assistance will then be provided from the date of purchase to the end of the month in which the purchase was made; the annual TAP coverage period will begin on the first day of the next month.

Note that the first year TAP annual fees for Professional II/PLUS and Predict are reduced if you purchase a TAP subscription at the same time you purchase the product. Combined prices are listed on the Product Pricing page.
